Music is considered a form of art in which we can express our feeling or emotions through a good beat and lyrics. Over the years, music had the same structure in every generation, but current music problem is that lyrics use a sex and violence language. It is an important point of discussion because people minds could influence by music. This chapter was focused on music genre and discussed about history of each other, however nowadays music trend is different than other generations because today’s music could be offensive. 

My aha moment was when I looked a billboard list because I faced the problem of new trends of pop music which most of songs sound similar. I followed billboard playlist in my Spotify account a few years ago when Despacito by Enrique Iglesias ft Justin Bieber was at the top of list, but I did not open it for a long time. In that time, I listened a lot of different genre in the top ten of billboard list, however current list just is filled with Trap and rap genre. 

After reading an article named Pop music sounds exactly the same, I realized that formulaic style of pop music is supported in researches by physiologic and data analysis. Due to entertainment industry is a profit business which invest a lot of money in new songs, they must take care to assurance it can continue to make money. For this reason, those company feel comfortable if they do the same. By the way, I am grateful to the musicians who decide to break pop music trends and look new sounds because revolutionary artists can make a better musical culture. 

To conclude, music has not an establish definition because it is a form of expression. What is a good music for some people, it sounds bad for others, however a good music has to have rhythm, harmony and melody. I can relate music with the concept of fads because in twenty century sex and violence is the formula of music. Musicians must be careful and respectfull with their lyrics because it could influence in the people.
