Reflection Letter Portfolio 3

The movies have successful grown since their beginning.  Although a few people do not like movies, entertainer industry are into our culture, such as YouTube and Netflix. Over the years, their developments have an impressive legacy based on quality entertainment and technological foresight. This Unit is funny because it explains due above all the movie industry, including a lot of vocabulary. The importance to study this topic is related with the scope of humanity class and for me is “We need to learn culture to understand society and create strong bonds with all members of there are”.

My aha moment was when I did a crossword puzzle, although I had done my assessments named list of terms, I need to remember again the meaning of the words. Also, I need to fix my answers. For example, on my research for the meaning of “Blockbuster” I found that was a company’s brand with a successful business for movies rentals and my explanation of that word was as successful movie. However, when I did the puzzle, I understood the real meaning of “a big movie production”. I liked this task because I explored my spelling skills.

I am not movie lover and also I subscribed on Netflix due to social pressure. For this reason, I did not know that Tayler Perry. Currently, I think his developments in entertainment industry is a good business case for study. I learned lessons, such as reduce cost and know well your target. He moved his studios to Atlanta to reduce operative cost and his goal was African American because in a few years, their buying power will top $900 billon. I appreciate his work because that improve the stream of inclusion of race and genre.

To conclude, movies explore our fears and emotion as feeling's mind blowers. In this unit I learned the feature of movies and developments in the entertainment industry. On my opinion, topics about social inclusion must take seriously because we should not accept that section of the population would exclude from participation in the anything labor.
